The Southern Asia Initiative

“…so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.” –Romans 1:12

The Global Ministries Southern Asia Initiative invites you to walk together in hope with partners in the Southern Asia region as we discover what it means to live faithfully.

Despite a complex history of cultures, spiritual traditions, growing economies, and emerging technology, Asia has also been home to the largest number of the poor in the world. Of late, the region has become more susceptible to violent conflicts, terrorism, fundamentalism, bigotry, human rights’ violations, and caste-based violence.

However, Asian churches, mostly minority communities, find themselves at the crossroads of being rooted and relevant while also remaining connected with their faith traditions. Amidst human suffering, need, and injustice, churches in the region aim to stand together in faith and hope. We in Global Ministries stand with them as we receive and share good news together!

I live in Okene, Kogi State, Nigeria, but originally from Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State: a town that has been overtaken by the killing of Christians by Boko Haram since 2007.

I fled and settled in Okene where I was saved and called into ministry to " Go and make Disciples of All Nations" since 2012.

I have always been desirous to meet elders in the faith who will encourage and myself learning from matured believers in order to fulfil the work of the Ministry.

Global Ministries is God sent. I pray that the good Lord use us all to accomplish his purpose here on earth.

I am therefore, convinced that in partnership with Global ministries, I grow and find peace.

I live on the Island of Mindanao, in General Santos City, Philippines. I’m a US citizen who is called of God to GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES. I passionately desire to fulfill my plan and purpose from above! Perhaps Global Ministries will be vehicle to reach out to others so that God can use me to bring others to HIM!
