Namibia

Namibia is located in Southern Africa, bordering the South Atlantic Ocean, between Angola and South AfricaEven though the United Congregational Church of Southern Africa has had some congregations in Namibia for many years, it was only after independence in 1990 that the first North American UCC and Disciples missionaries were assigned to the country. The focal points of UCC and Disciples support have been strengthening congregational ministries and ecumenical development. Our ecumenical partner in Namibia is the Council of Churches in Namibia (CCN).
